Senior Manager, US Commercial Sales Analysis

 

This role provides strategic support to the US business (with ~$30B net sales the largest BMS Commercial unit) by providing insights into the operational drivers of gross-to-nets across the US product portfolio (Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Neuroscience and Cardiovascular).

 

Senior Manager partners closely with US Brand Finance Teams, Market Access & Pricing, Corporate Accounting, Business Controls and external auditors. This role provides significant development in financial analysis, commercial model, and cross matrix leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

 

·           Business partner with Market Access and US Brand Finance teams.

·           Manage gross-to-net budgeting, projections, strategic planning in partnership with Market Access & Pricing and US Brand Finance teams.

·           Prepare/create budget/projection timelines, presentations, and sales analysis to effectively communicate strategic insights and drivers of gross-net-variances to leadership across the organization.

·           In partnership with other teams, analyze and model any potential changes in the health care policies or contracting setup. 

·           Manage period close process – prepare monthly/quarterly gross-to-net adjustments and account reconciliations for quarter-end financial close, including validating adequacy of accrual balances.

·           Execute net price analysis including providing key insights to finance leadership.

·           Maintain and update the internal control environment for all areas associated with gross-to-net as well as support internal/external audits and annual SOX process in partnership with the Business Controls group.

Qualifications

·           Strong analytical skills

·           Working effectively across a matrix organization and influencing others at all levels

·           Working knowledge of SAP, BI, Hyperion, and strong excel proficiency

·           Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 7+ years of professional experience

Solid accounting understanding is a must
