We are seeking an Engineering Manager who’s a 'go-getter' – someone who excels in building and leading high-performing teams, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, adept at navigating risks while fostering a culture of excellence. A natural people person with a broad system view and multidisciplinary expertise, who can swiftly grasp complex concepts and foresee future challenges. What will you do?

You will take part in the supervising architecture, design, and implementation of a multi-disciplinary cloud native software platform that will serve thousands of users (from enterprise & public sector clients across the globe, incl. some of the largest companies globally) and billions of events daily as part of SentinelOne's security offering. You will be responsible for building distributed systems, E2E pipelines that serve all our customers in the area of Linux & Cloud security. As an EM at S1, you will deal with extraordinary performance and optimization challenges, given the scale of our cybersecurity services (often handling hundreds of thousands or even millions of requests per second).

Responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with the PM team around roadmap planning and enablement.
• E2E ownership over the delivered products, planning, and addressing
• Testing/CI/CD/K8S/Helm/Monitoring/Alerting/Performance/COGS/optimisations etc
• Empowering and supervising the team on Research/High and Low level designs of new features.
• Cross team dependencies resolution.
• Risk management and mitigation plans.
• Lead and supervise Agile practices, dailies, retrospectives, planning etc.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• At least 2 years of proven experience of successfully managing an engineering team
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern programming languages.
• Experience with developing large scale highly performant microservice-based backend systems.
• Ability to quickly dive into new products and understand their inner workings.
• Self-driven and open-minded individual.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or other cloud platforms, as well as Docker, CI CD technologies, Helm & Kubernetes.
• A degree in Computer Science/Software engineering OR a comparable experience from well renowned companies
