You will collaborate with <b>Business Units, Marketing, BI, Support Teams, and Advanced Analytics</b> to drive data-driven decision-making.<br/> </h3><h3><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3><p><b><u><span>Data Engineering</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Collect and integrate data from multiple sources to meet business needs.</li><li>Transform raw data into <b>clean, structured, and reusable datasets</b> for analysts and stakeholders.</li><li>Apply <b>automated ETL/ELT processes</b>, ensuring data integrity by:<ul><li>Removing inaccurate or corrupted data.</li><li>Aggregating and summarizing datasets.</li><li>Filtering out irrelevant or duplicate information.</li><li>Managing and optimizing database tables.</li></ul></li><li>Perform and guide junior engineers in <b>maintenance and troubleshooting</b> of data pipelines and BI tools.</li></ul><p><b><u><span>Data Infrastructure &amp; Governance</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Manage <b>data warehouse governance and access controls</b>.</li><li>Recommend strategies to <b>enhance BI tool performance and capacity</b>.</li><li>Develop <b>security and authentication standards</b> for data access.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date <b>technical architecture documentation</b>.</li><li>Define and enforce <b>BI standards, guidelines, and best practices</b>.</li></ul><p><b><u><span>Data Visualization Support</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Assist in converting data into <b>interactive dashboards, charts, and reports</b> using BI tools.</li><li>Support <b>automated and self-service</b> data visualization initiatives.</li></ul><p><b><u><span>Stakeholder Management</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Work closely with <b>business owners, BI specialists, analysts, and data scientists</b> to align business goals with data solutions.</li><li>Manage requirements from <b>business divisions, Marketing Channels, and Strategy teams</b>.</li><li>Collaborate with <b>European and global teams</b> on key data projects.</li><li>Advocate for <b>data-driven decision-making</b>, communicating complex concepts in a clear and accessible way for stakeholders.</li></ul><p><b>Your team</b><br/>As a Senior Data Engineer you will be part of the Central Data Marketing team in the Corporate Marketing organization in Schiphol, Netherlands. We are providing marketing and business analytics solutions as well as the data marketing activations across online channels such as CRM, Media and Ads, and .com. You will be part of the BI team, one of the critical teams of Data Analytics and Data marketing success at Samsung.
