Role Overview: 

As part of the North American Contract Logistics Center eLogistics team, the eLogistics Product/Cost Administrator will support the product and cost administration required for any product introductions or updates in eLogistics—the estimating system for the Otis salesforce. In addition, this role will support the factory through conducting test contracts.

The CLC eLogistics Product/Cost Administrator is a self-motivated, results-driven employee with excellent attention to detail. This person also is an excellent communicator with the ability to efficiently communicate complex content.

On a Typical Day You Will: 

• Create and maintain product information in eLogistics

• Create and maintain cost information in eLogistics

• Participate in design reviews incorporating learning into future designs

• Support user testing for internal applications

What You Will Need to be Successful: 

• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Focused on delivering results
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software  
• Experience with SQL and/or HTML programming
• Ability to read engineering documents
• A self-motivated personality with a strong desire to continue learning
• Excellent communicator
• Dedicated to process improvement
• Able to work in cross-functional teams, respect individual differences, and welcome diverse thinking
• Working knowledge of database design techniques
• Cost accounting experience
• Experience in the elevator industry
• Familiarity with elevator components
• Experience in a manufacturing facility
• Experience with the eLog and JD Edwards software
