We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist to lead our new Sales Data Products initiative. This is a new team driving the development of innovative products that use data and evidence to reinforce our value proposition to the market.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Drive the development of innovative data products that demonstrate to prospective customers why Spring Health is the best mental health solution for their employees.
• Perform complex analysis on our operational and clinical performance to elevate the expectations we set with customers.
• Foster innovation by interfacing with operational teams and highlighting the investments  necessary to strengthen our data story in the market.
• Work closely with our Sales, Strategic Alliances, and Product Marketing teams to develop a deep understanding of the employer benefits industry and our customers’ needs.

What we expect from you: 

• You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you.
• You have a degree in a STEM-related field and at least 7 years of commercial experience in a data science role.
• You are energized by impact; you’re obsessed with outcomes irrespective of whether they are achieved by ML models or spreadsheets.
• You have exceptional analytical creativity and are an expert at designing analyses that will enrich a qualitative story.
• You have experience meeting directly with customers and translating complex analysis into compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
• You are proficient in Python, have experience building DBT models, and are familiar with Looker or other similar BI tools.
• Bonus points for previous experience in management or benefits consulting.
• You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

The target salary range for this position is $179,100 - $218,550, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
