St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent’s is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the system’s second-largest hospital.

In consultation with Pharmacy Manager and Director establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards to help ensure efficient workflow and patient care in a defined area or work group. Provide direct supervision to defined group of staff in defined area. Work collaborative with stakeholders outside of department to ensure work group is meeting customer expectations. Provide pharmacist clinical guidance to area of focus. Ability to staff in pharmacist role in work group.

Required:

PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy OR licensed Pharmacists prior to 2002 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Three (3) or more years pharmacy experience in a hospital pharmacy

Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible to receive licensure within 45 days
