Part Time/California Guard Card/Weekends and Holidays Required

Post Location-Barstow

Schedule- Part-time, 2-4 days per week. Shifts are 8 hours. Your hours are merit based, measured through your attendance, performance, and conduct. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Terms-90-day probationary period, part-time, at-will. Observe, take appropriate action, report.

Pay Range-$17.25+ USD per hour. Incemental increases in pay are rapid, based upon attendance, performance, and conduct. 

 

Must Have:

• Active Guard Card (California)
• Driver’s License-clean driving record; some driving may be required
• 2 or more years of professional experience in the security industry: Hospital or Higher Education Background a plus
• Complete resume, up to date
• Reliable personal transportation and working cell phone
• Clear background
• Two professional references (not relatives)
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• High School diploma/GED required; some college preferred
• Physically able to walk for extended periods of time

 

Preferred skill set:

• 3+ years of experience in the professional security industry; hospital or higher education setting strongly preferred
• Active site experience, meaning constantly moving, engaging, taking appropriate action. This is not a sedentary post.
• Veteran or CO/LE background
• College with a focus in the Criminal Justice field
• Tech savvy
• Able to take corrective feedback, adjust, and execute as instructed without question

Position Summary:

 

A Signal Dedicated Guard will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.
