About the Job:

Performs all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist by producing high quality images and providing compassion and comfort to all patients. 

What You’ll Do:

• Performs exams in Diagnostic Radiology including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast exams and invasive procedures under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist
• Prepares and administers IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by protocol
• Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as RIS and PACS 
• Student Radiologic Technologist may also function as a Tech Aide in the CAT Scan Department and provide the following assistant to the CT Technologist:
  • Transport’s patients to and from the CT exam rooms
  • Positions patients for exams
  • Provides instructions to patients prior to the beginning of their exam
  • Prepares IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by exam protocol

Who You Are:

• Must have completed 1 year of Radiographic training in an AMA approved school required
• Be a student in good standing with anticipated completion of program as enrolled required
• Must meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT by end of program. required
