Snr Tech Devt Engineer - Technology Development [ITE College Central]

[What the role is]
The role plays a key professional role to identify and pioneer development projects in key technology areas to enhance ITE’s capabilities. You will act as a professional leader to manage and lead academic staff in responding to technical challenges and guide project teams in the execution of industry and development projects.

[What you will be working on]

You are expected to introduce or develop innovative technologies to enhance our industry partners’ capabilities, provide leadership in execution of project and set up new laboratory facilities. You are also required to introduce new technologies and prepare project proposals for the application of Research and Innovation Funding, manage the resources to support different initiatives to assist the industry through the various funding schemes. Areas of focus include Automation, Info-Comm, Material and Semiconductor industry.

[What we are looking for]

You should possess suitable credentials in the relevant fields, with at least ten years of work experience. A wide industry network to engage and support different industries will be useful. An added advantage with experience putting up research proposals and managing research projects in any of the above-mentioned areas. You should also be a good team player, possess strong communication and presentation skills and be able to work independently.
