Secret clearance level eligibility required to start. Preferred candidates will have background in technical editing, desktop publishing, or proposal operations. This position is located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. Flexible/hybrid work arrangement possible and will vary based on proposal assignments. The selected candidate must be willing and able to travel, as needed (up to 25%). Our mission is to apply proven proposal execution strategies, process, and leadership to teams across the division to ensure successful, compliant, compelling, and on time proposal submissions. The proposals we work on may include top Priority Wins, competitive pursuits, and sole source efforts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support development of efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers
Participate in collaborative and engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent the proposal strategy and baseline
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that proposals are on schedule and meet Customer requirements
Develop, plan, and schedule proposals
Assist cost, schedule, and technical teams in the development of proposals in accordance with proposal specifications
Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments
Assist in research and analysis of historical data
Participate in bid and proposal activities
Develop templates and tools that comply with individual proposal requests
Work with the graphic designer to prepare proposal content design and layout
Edit proposal content for proper grammar, logic, readability, and compliance to proposal requirements
Coordinate the electronic and physical production of multi-volume proposals
Support writing activities through language revision, which may include interviews with SMEs
Prepare, edit, and arrange completed proposal products for print or electronic publications
Perform visual quality inspection of proposal deliverables
Use established precedents and policies to develop solutions to complex problems
Interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations
Develop and deliver presentations
Support Digital Transformation Office (DTO) projects that support capture and proposal management.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
