Roseville Product Specialists

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Sales Support for Product Specialists:

• Coach and develop product specialists utilizing Schneiderman’s selling program
• Communicate all sale event details
• Observe product specialists as they engage with guests, the goal to ensure every guest is receiving an outstanding experience and to provide support and helpful positive feedback after guest interactions
• In concert with each product specialist, establish and monitor sales goals (daily,monthly, yearly) to ensure success
• Provide weekly motivational and educational product specialist staff meetings
• Coach product specialists in the use of Schneiderman’s technology systems (Storis,CXM, iPad use) so they are proficient when working with guests
• Ensure product specialists are providing their guests with important order status updates for all open orders utilizing their open order reports
• Perform product specialist performance recaps at the start of every new month for the previously completed month

Administrative:

• Create work schedules for all product specialists
• Monitor and reconcile Paycom timecards for all product specialists on a bi-monthly basis
• Conduct performance reviews for all Product Specialists
• Monitor and maintain Roseville store controllable expenses
• Petty Cash Account reconciliation
• Process monthly product specialist incentives (spiffs)
• Process pricing errors, 30-day price guarantee requests, employee purchase requests, and sales order adjustments as needed
• Coordinate price tag updates, fabric drops/updates and new event tagging as needed
• Review daily written business and resolve account receivable issues as needed

Technology:

• Good knowledge and use of Microsoft products
  • Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Teams
• Comfortable with the use of an Apple iPad o Ability to quickly learn and embrace our POS & CRM systems (Storis)

Customer Service:

• You will partner with our Customer Care and Delivery departments to aid in their resolve of difficult Roseville guest situations that require input/help from a Store Manager.
• All guest issues created by the store will be handled by the Store Manager
• Service reselections and mattress comfort trial reselections are handled by the Store Manager whenever possible
• Rarely, an “in-home” inspection is needed to resolve a guest product situation. While rare, you may be required to visit a guest home to inspect a product problem
• Unfavorable guest’s reviews (Google, Yelp, etc.) are addressed by the Store Manager typically responding with a phone call or an email. We take these seriously and make every effort to resolve these favorably.
• Store Managers are the “go to” when a product specialist has a difficult situation that they need help resolving. Most often it is best to involve yourself in these.

Store Maintenance:

• All store maintenance is handled by the Store Manager in partnership with our Building Maintenance Manager
  • Store cleanliness is your responsibility to ensure the Roseville Store always looks GREAT!

Hiring:

• Hiring of product specialists, general office manager, housekeeping and office specialist staff is a “group effort”. However, the Store Manager is highly involved in all store hiring decisions
• The Store Manager is responsible for:
  • initial “onboarding” of all new Product Specialists and -2- days of in store orientation of new Product Specialists
• Depending on the Store Manager’s expertise, they could be involved in presenting a training module during the Product Specialist New Hire Training Program
