Director of Nursing (RN) – Toledo, OH

Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team in Toledo, Ohio. This full-time position is ideal for a dynamic RN with strong clinical and leadership skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and guiding a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
   
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
   
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
   
• Coordinate and monitor resident care plans and ensure appropriate clinical interventions.
   
• Collaborate with other departments and leadership to maintain effective communication and facility operations.
   
• Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and overall department performance.
   
• Participate in survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
   

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
   
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing management experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
   
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
   
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for nursing facilities.
   
• A commitment to excellence in resident care and team development.
