Contingent Opportunity- S&K Federal Services has a potential need for a Facility Coordinator located at the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) and Army Testing Evaluation Command (ATEC) in Aberdeen, Maryland. This role will support the Facilities Infrastructure and Logistics Operations Support Services (FI&LOSS) US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM-CBC) by providing facilities/infrastructure maintenance and operations services and logistics support services. This support will be supplemental to that provided by the installation’s Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
The Facility Coordinator (FC) has the primary responsibility to monitor and inspect buildings, associated building components, and infrastructure systems for their life-cycle management. The FC will submit and track, from initiation-to-completion, service orders and work orders. Perform various inspections utilizing various prescribed checklists, interacting with tenants/facility users and project staff as appropriate.
Project Manager: Inspection of All Life, Health & Safety Equipment: to include fire extinguishers and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and Eye wash stations.
2. Serves as the Fire Monitor in all CBC buildings to resolve deficiencies that are identified by the base Fire Chief.
3. Coordinate with Project Engineer to assist with project support and contractor escorting.
4. Policing of the Exterior Grounds up to 50 ft. from the building
5. Responsible for snow removal and spill cleanup as needed.
6. After-hours support will be required for emergency responses to weather or facility-related issues. This includes off hours, weekends, and holidays.
7. Reconciliation of equipment and supplies in all CBC buildings.
8. Emergency Response for floods, mold remediation, bodily fluids, and general housekeeping.
9. Working with building occupants to identify and resolve concerns.
Plan and revise work schedules to ensure an even workflow and assure priority cases are handled expeditiously.
- Coordinate with the COR and Program Manager regarding service/work order priorities, procedures, and accomplishments.
- Support preparation of workload reports and maintain accurate records of activities.
- Provide management and oversight on assigned project/program activities using industry standard management tools and practices.
- Ability to mentor staff to support career development.
- Ensure work requested through the project/program is performed properly to the complete satisfaction of the customer and contract requirements.
- Support policies, procedures, and goals for successful project/program execution.
- Represent the company at customer meetings as required.
- Prepare and present reports and briefings as necessary/required.
- Receive and up-channel any grievances/issues that may arise from staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
- Shall be responsible for contractor onboarding and facilitating organization access (i.e., CAC cards, computer system access, network access, etc.)
- Shall identify safety concerns to PM and other required stakeholders.
- Shall make sure that all administrative functions relative to contractor performance in assigned areas are accomplished on time and in the required format.
- Shall administer contractor standards of conduct and ensure that contractor perform to contract standards.
- Shall be responsible for safety of contractor personnel and both contractor and Government owned equipment.
- Shall coordinate the efforts of all contractor personnel to meet assigned goals.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Experience
- Minimum of (6) Years of Facility Management Experience
License, Cert or Registration
- Must possess an (active) IFMA Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification
- Must have current/valid Maryland CLASS C drivers’ license.
- Must have proof of U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to satisfy a background investigation.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and software to perform work (e.g., Microsoft Office) and general office equipment.
- Practice and enforce high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, neat appearance while on duty.
- Comply with dress code applicable to facility and location being supported as well ensure ID, badges and credentials are clearly visible while on duty.<
