Job Description:

At Regions, the Business Systems Manager develops, trains, and manages Business Systems Analysts that support departmental system(s).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plans, tests, and executes projects and supports day-to-day operations
  • Ensures department meets all standards, company policies, and quality requirements
  • Develops strategy and leads implementation for system(s)
  • Works with Technology partners and line of businesses regarding processes and resolution of system issues
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves user problems as they occur
  • Oversees system enhancements and works with agencies to develop ongoing reporting and tools
  • Partners across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data (TODD) to ensure controls are designed, implemented, and monitored to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cyber security, effectively mitigating risk to levels within the company’s risk appetite 

  • Ensures disciplined change management by evaluating risk and control impacts when designing or implementing changes to processes, systems, products, and/or services 

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related work experience
  • OR High School Diploma /GED and twelve (12) years of related work experience
  • Two (2) years of leadership/managerial/supervisory experience

Preferences

  • Experience in a financial institution

Additional Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts supporting mortgage/ home equity transformation work, helping them grow, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and keeping efforts aligned with business value.

  • Drive mortgage/home equity transformation by rethinking processes and using strong business analysis to support an enhanced mortgage experience end to end.

  • Lead cross-functional efforts to improve POS & LOS platforms (e.g., Empower), working closely with stakeholders to turn complex needs into clear requirements.

  • Oversee and support control testing efforts across initiatives, ensuring requirements and processes meet regulatory expectations and that controls are clearly defined, tested, and functioning as intended

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
