This role performs automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression and integration tests for Forte Payments.

We are looking for a Sr. Test Engineer who will:

• Design and maintain test data, cases, and scripts in an Agile environment
• Perform development and QA environment testing to ensure high-quality business systems
• Test applications and business enhancements for reliability, consistency, and user-friendliness, ensuring features function as intended
• Document and prioritize test conditions and scenarios, and log and track defects
• Analyze and automate test cases and develop scripts in Cypress, Selenium, Protractor, and JavaScript
• Create, execute, and maintain queries for SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Respectfully challenge ideas and share perspectives to support business needs
• Manage multiple projects, shift priorities quickly, and make sound decisions
• Work collaboratively in a self-directed team environment
• Develop, execute, and implement test scenarios and automate scripts for Java/Angular applications

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of expereince with functional automation software testing
• Experience with SQL scripts for data loads, upgrades, migrations, and validation testing.  This includes an intermediate level of SQL - Creating Queries, Sub Queries, Dynamic SQL Queries, Basic Programming in SQL Server – Using Stored Procedures, Triggers, User-defined Functions and Views, Cursors in SQL Server, SQL Server
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP/Web Service/API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, and SoapUI
• Knowledge of NodeJS, AngularJS, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Linux and HTML
• Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins, AWS, Azure
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, AWS Commit
