Rehabilitation Care Technician

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Clinic Rehab Tech to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Care Technician will work under the supervision of professional rehabilitation services staff, utilizing their skill and expertise to support the work of other health care providers. Essential tasks include assisting the rehabilitation professional with patient care and/or other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Daily flexibility in work duties is a requirement to support the department in meeting its patient care needs.
Work Schedule:
x10 8-hour shifts in a 2-week period.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to work independently under the supervision of multiple Rehabilitation Professionals on recurring assignments semi-routine in nature.
- Must be able to problem-solve using good communication and people skills.
- Strong verbal communication, customer relations and listening skills are essential.
- Must be able to promote and maintain good customer relations and patient confidentiality.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of patients including those with physical disabilities, speech and hearing impairments, cognitive impairments, and language impairments and barriers.
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Customer relations experience
