About the role

The Traveling Project Supervisor for our Remediation Team (Soil) will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading / unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. 

Travel 90%  6 wks. at Project Site, 1 wk. rotation home.

Pay:  $95,000 -  $120,000

  • Earn between $95,000 and $120,000 annually depending on experience and overtime, plus per diem at $55 per night.
  • Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilot’s license.

  • Live anywhere in the continental United States and travel (95-100%) to various sites all over the country.

  • Successful management of soil remediation/earthwork and environmental construction projects exceeding $5M in value, including budgeting, forecasting, change management, and managing subcontractors.
  • Experienced team leader who fosters engagement, loyalty, and a winning culture, to those who report directly and indirectly, to achieve the safe execution of tasks and goals.
  • Requires working knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications and ability to use or become proficient with other enterprise software applications.
  • This position is physically demanding, and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator, that may restrict movement, when required.
  • Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time, sitting in equipment that may vibrate or jostle, climbing and working at heights, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching, and balance. Requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected).
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment, and a clean personal appearance. Facial hair must always comply with the company’s respiratory protection facial hair policy.
  • Complete an employment application and satisfy all employment requirements.
  • Pass a comprehensive pre-employment and annual fit for duty physical, drug screen, and background clearance.
  • Adhere to Clean Harbors’ policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40, RCRA, DOT, and other training.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that is satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light duty vehicles.
  • Must always demonstrate a professional standard of conduct.  Clean Harbors’ employees are expected to represent the company during their entire work rotation, on or off our project sites.
