Job Description
Responsible for application and database administration activities like concurrent processing, system administration, analyzing job logs, start up and shut down, RAC, OEM in the EBS space, managing schema statistics, performance tuning, RAC refreshes. Be able to install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain Oracle E-business Suite 12.2.x. Support custom application development efforts, clone EBS application and database in a multi-node environment. Manage environments with Linux/windows platforms, start/stop/supervise services, determine status/issues.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers personal tasks on time and leads the delivery of tasks for natural or cross-functional workgroup.
- Participates on initiatives with deliverables and meets quality standards on time.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives with deliverables and meets quality standards on time.
- Creates Application and System Design Documents and Develops Applications / Reports / Systems / Enterprise Solutions.
- Estimates component/application system level and enterprise solution work efforts.
- Designs Develops and Implements Complex Business Rules
- Responsible for fulfilling end-user requests. Provides on call support as required.
- Periodically provides guidance to and assists in training less experienced individuals. Routinely operates under deadlines and may be subject to extreme workloads.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle EBS database administration through 12.2.9, including concurrent processing, system administration, analyzing job logs, start up and shut down, RAC, OEM in the EBS space, managing schema statistics, performance tuning, RAC refreshes.
- Excellent knowledge of core Oracle databases (up through 19c)
- UNIX shell scripting experience to setup scripts for monitoring
- In-Depth understanding of Oracle RAC (12c and 19c)
- SSO experience with Oracle OAM/OID
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS system administration to supervise concurrent requests and collect information on job logs.
- Familiarity with Hyperion, OTM, SOA & WebCenter, a plus
- Strong knowledge in multiple SDLC methodologies
- Technically proficient in application/component system or enterprise solution
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 11+ years’ work experience
- 5+ Years experience with Oracle EBS Administration involving implementation, maintaining Oracle databases across Linux platforms.
Additional Information
Salary:$110,000-135,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
