As the Senior Manager, Project Management, you<p></p><p><span></span></p>will be responsible for leading the implementation of projects related to transitions, migrations, process<p></p><p><span></span></p>improvements, automation, and system implementations. You will lead diverse portfolios and ensure the timely<p></p><p><span></span></p>and successful attainment of key program breakthroughs. Collaboration will be crucial, as you work with various<p></p><p><span></span></p>internal and external partners to ensure a coordinated approach across Global Business Services.<p></p><p><span></span></p>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams to achieve targeted outcomes.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Develop collaboration across multiple workstreams, effectively leading teams with varied strengths and<p></p><p><span></span></p>addressing interdependencies.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Collaborate with key collaborators to ensure timely and high-quality execution across workstreams and<p></p><p><span></span></p>business units.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Drive innovative thinking by integrating varied perspectives and promoting collaborative problem-solving<p></p><p><span></span></p>to translate customer needs into future state results.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Define and maintain project scope, objectives, budget, staffing, and results through comprehensive<p></p><p><span></span></p>project plans.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Conduct regular project assessments to ensure quality and readiness, ensuring alignment with program<p></p><p><span></span></p>goals.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Lead project requirements, progress, and outcomes in collaboration with business, operational, IT, and<p></p><p><span></span></p>other functional teams.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Apply tailored methodologies and strategies to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Identify and handle interdependencies, risks, and issues, facilitating decision-making through effective<p></p><p><span></span></p>risk management.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Lead critical path processes, addressing blocking issues and implementing strategies to mitigate them.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Act as the main point of contact for project updates, results, and challenges, communicating with senior<p></p><p><span></span></p>collaborators.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Lead Steering Committee discussions, providing clear updates on risks, issues, actions, and decisions.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Coordinate sophisticated project portfolios, managing changes and interventions to keep the portfolio on<p></p><p><span></span></p>track, and serve as the key point of contact for portfolio health and savings.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Build and feed a successful, motivated team, encouraging a culture of excellence aligned with Thermo<p></p><p><span></span></p>Fisher’s values.<p></p><p><span></span></p>REQUIRED <span>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</span><p></p><p><span></span></p>• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required, or equivalent experience will be considered.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is highly desirable.<p></p><p><span></span></p>• 10+ years of experience leading sophisticated, global programs and initiatives.<p></p><p><span></span></p>•
