Responsibilities:
Follow departmental and corporate procedures and support the development of new maintenance processes.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards related to maintenance operations.
Perform and maintain preventive maintenance programs for facilities and equipment, including documentation and updates.
Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, complete repairs, and coordinate with vendors or subcontractors when needed.
Support training, vendor management, project coordination, and serve as backup to the Facilities Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or educational equivalent.
Accurate with mechanical/electrical mathematical calculations and can read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Certified or demonstrate skill in facility maintenance areas including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
Proficient with personal computer operation.
Valid Georgia driver’s license.
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years hands on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced in dealing with subcontractors.
Certified or experienced with the application and installation of PLC units.
