Job Overview
Responsible for development of invoice management policies, procedures, methods and guidelines. Monitor daily work flows and assigns work to Invoice Reconciliation Associates.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Supervise invoice management process and invoice fix associate team.
- Delegate assignments and projects to the team.
- Work with Controller, Accounting, Procurement, and the warehouse team to ensure invoice processing and vendor payments.
- Create and distribute operational and invoice reports to management.
- Setup team performance matrices and conduct timely review.
- Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating invoice management policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
- Resolving invoice issues with vendors and educate the vendors on processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience in procurement, accounting, accounts payable, or related areas is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Materials Management, or Accounting required
- 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and large company main-frame general ledger system experience preferred.
- Displays an extreme sense of urgency
- Sets high standards of performance for themselves and subordinates.
