Community Living Specialist Weekend 8am-8pm

POSITION SUMMARY

Psychotherapeutic Services is looking for facility based, Community Living Specialist for the weekend shift 8am-8pm 

The Community Living Specialist goal is to:

• increase persons’ capacity for independent community living through the establishment of rapport with persons, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences
• serve as first line supervisor for Community Living Specialists and less experienced workers and may perform direct care tasks
• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree in Human Services, or related field and one (1) year related experience;
• or Bachelor's degree in any field with two (2) years related experience; or Associates degree in Human Services or related field with three (3) years direct care or comparable experience;
• or Associates degree in any field with (4) years direct care or comparable experience;
• or a High School diploma/GED with 5 years direct care or comparable experience with two (2) years of prior supervisory experience.
• All will have completed company Basic Life Skills Rehabilitation Training Course or equivalent training/ experience. 

Med tech certification is a plus
