Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team. The technical trainer supports the DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and is responsible for training on the various security systems that support the ACAS program.

 

What you’ll do:

 

The Technical Trainer is responsible for the following but not limited to:

· Developing courseware, writing training materials, delivering training, and setting up and maintaining a computer-training environment, and using customer satisfaction surveys for course evaluation

· Writing training manuals (instructor and participant guides) and user manuals

· Designing and producing training tools, such as printable job aids and quick reference guides

· Delivering train-the-trainer and instructor-led training.

· Designing and producing eLearning training material.

· Travel may be required, but is not expected to more than 5% and more than likely less than that, most training is provided virtually

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS 5+ years of experience or HS 9+ years of related experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain DoD Interim Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship Required.
• Experience with training development to include leading courses and creating training manuals/materials.
• Experience as training instructor, curriculum developer, or ACAS operator/engineer
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; to include MS Powerpoint experience.

• Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
