Resource Innovations is seeking a Commercial Market Engagement Manager to join our growing team in California. As a Commercial Market Engagement Manager with Resource Innovations, you will work with our team of Solution Delivery Managers to support Program Operations and lead projects which engage utility client customers, connecting them with available energy efficiency upgrades, incentive opportunities and maximize participation in utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs in California.
You will make an impact by helping small business customers become aware, understand, and use energy and cost-saving incentives to improve their businesses. Key responsibilities include providing program operations support, developing and implementing projects that improve program processes, designing and overseeing the implementation of strategic outreach campaigns to potential customers, project operations software support, responding to program inquiries, managing Program invoicing and administrative reporting, and engaging with client representatives to intake and vet Program leads. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for working both independently with minimal direction and as part of team. You will be expected to receive guidance on a project and desired outcomes, ask questions as needed, and be able to come back with a proposed solution within given timeframes. You will serve California utility clients (ideally residing in California) and have experience working with energy efficiency programs.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports program operation activities, such as program invoicing, process improvement projects, and administrative reporting.
- Develops short- and long-term outreach and customer outreach strategies and plans to support the achievement of program goals.
- Identifies, tracks, and monitors goals progress and assists in generating leads from direct outreach activities and documenting these activities in Program databases.
- Oversee and report on program operation activities, such as project verification activities, customer satisfaction surveys, contractor documentation requirements, customer complaints.
- Software Super User who will understand how the system works, train staff on program operations software, and help problem solve with the development team.
- Promptly and professionally respond to inquiries and questions from customers and client representatives.
- Provides ongoing support and collaboration to team members, subcontractors, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably with marketing or outreach activities in utility energy efficiency or customer solution programs.
- A background in program marketing and/or outreach, project management, energy efficiency measures and/or methods (e.g., LED lighting), or other building-related experience is preferred.
- Knowledgeable about energy efficiency strategies.
- Able to learn new tools and technologies quickly (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Team Player with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting with the capability of working efficiently on independent projects
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to travel up to 10%
