Job Description:The Division of Enrollment Management is looking for an Associate Director of Admissions (International Operations) to lead the processing, evaluation, and enrollment of international applicants. In this role, you will oversee international credential evaluation, supervise a specialized admissions team, support recruitment initiatives, and serve as a key liaison across campus units engaged in international education. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven leadership, comprehensive knowledge of international admissions and credential evaluation, and the sound professional judgment needed to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
International Admissions Operations & Applicant Support
- Oversee all undergraduate and graduate international credential evaluations, processing, and review.
- Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of international applicants.
- Advise admissions staff, departmental coordinators, and university partners on international admissions policies, degree comparability, and transfer credit.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the International Center, Graduate School, English Language Institute, and other campus partners.
- Manage staff responses to in‑person, phone, email, and web inquiries from international prospective students.
- Counsel domestic and international applicants on admissions policies and procedures.
- Assist senior leadership in developing and implementing policies related to international credential evaluation and processing.
- Assist with undergraduate admissions functions, including holistic review for freshman applicants.
Recruitment & Outreach
- Support undergraduate recruitment efforts, including driving or flying to domestic and international locations.
- Coordinate with the Associate Director for International Recruitment on global recruitment planning.
- Participate in virtual and in‑person admissions events, particularly those focused on international students.
Team Leadership, Training & Development
- Lead and supervise the international admissions team responsible for application review, academic credential evaluation, and enrollment finalization.
- Hire, train, supervise, and mentor staff within the international admissions area.
- Collaborate with the Senior Associate Director for Admissions Operations to support staff motivation and professional development.
Other Duties
- Stay current on best practices in international education through research and professional engagement.
- Participate in office‑wide planning, resource allocation, and long‑ and short‑term goal setting.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
$80,000 annually

Required Qualifications:Master's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience.
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Passport, or ability to obtain
- Required immunizations for international travel, or ability to obtain
- Proven expertise in evaluating international academic credentials
- Demonstrated success supervising professional staff, managing teams, and leading operational units in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of global education systems, foreign credential assessment, and transfer credit practices.
- Experience interpreting and applying admissions policies, accreditation standards, and international education regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively in complex environments
