Warehouse Parts Runner

Description

Results Statement:

The results of successfully performing this role include organization of the warehouse and delivering HVAC and Plumbing parts and equipment as needed in a timely manner. The work will be planned, organized and quality controlled to the customer’s ultimate satisfaction.

Tactical Work:

• Drop off and leave ladders at jobs for inspectors to use consistent with municipal requirements
• Setup portable air conditioners and space heaters in the customers home as required
• Delivered required parts to the job site
• Secure HVAC and Plumbing permits as required
• Track and maintain all inventory and assets that you are responsible for

Vital Factors:

• Perform all work within the allocated timeframe for the job
• Complete required driver’s safety trainings
• 100% accuracy in delivery and retrieval of materials and assets
  

• Finish all work within the allotted time for the job
• Return unused products for credit with our various suppliers
• Maintain the condition and track the assets for which you are responsible
• Represent yourself consistent with Goettl standards for punctuality, presentation and appearance
• Provide an amazing experience for your customer on every job
• Perform all work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to drive a sit-down fork lift and obtain certification

Requirements

• High school Degree or GED
• No warehouse experience required
• Must be proficient in MS Office and related business and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must be over 18.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening (Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone) and comprehensive background check.

Physical Demands: Ability to drive and maintain a good driving record and valid driver’s license. Requires local travel as needed. Warehouse work, stocking and cleaning. Lifting items in and out of delivery vehicle.
