Customer Service Representative- Insurance

Brightway Insurance is hiring an Insurance Customer Service Representative in Hilliard, OH. (Hybrid)

Position Summary

As a CSR, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and ensuring a positive, seamless insurance experience. This is a service-focused role where you will assist both new and existing customers with policy questions, changes, billing inquiries, and general support, while also identifying opportunities to support retention and growth when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and general insurance inquiries
• Educate customers on coverage options, available products, and applicable discounts
• Accurately document client interactions and maintain records in CRM and carrier systems
• Collaborate with agents and producers to ensure smooth and consistent customer experience
• Support retention efforts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities when appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree a plus
• 1+ year of experience in insurance, customer service, or a related role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning agency management systems
