What we're looking for:


Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Clinical Fellow in Suffolk County. Your caseload will consist of 2 afternoons in one of our Outpatient Clinic locations (Western Suffolk - North Shore), and homecare cases in Suffolk County. Clinical Fellows must have experience working with both adults and pediatrics from their externships.


Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. Job Type: Full Time

Pay: Salary: 65k

Schedule:

  • 2 days per week (including after school hours) in outpatient clinic
  • Homecare cases can be scheduled to your availability
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program in NY
  • Limited License (can apply once hired)
  • Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
  • Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
  • Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
Salary Description 65,000
