Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Tactical Data Links Operations Manager in Langley, VA. Qualified candidates must have an Secret Clearance and relevant experience supporting an Air Force Command. In this role, you will:
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the United States Air Force Air Combat Command and support Link 16 network design operations
- Provide recommendations to the Air Combat Command Leadership team
- Support tactical information exchanges applicable to current AF programs and weapons systems
- Contribute to the planning, organizational structure, and negotiation process, especially with senior analysts and management teams to implement TDL network designs.
- Use Task Management Tools to coordinate taskers, responsible for document review and program updates
Qualifications
- An active Secret clearance with TS eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry and 7 years of experience OR Associates degree in a relevant industry with 9 years of experience.
- 2 years of experience with Link 16 networks within an Air Force environment.
- Operational experience in data link management of C2, ISR and fighter/bomber systems
- PMI Certification preferred but not required.
Business Development
- Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
