Enterprise Process Expert: S/4 Enterprise Planning and Management Reporting

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid model: 3 days per week from office

AstraZeneca (AZ) business keeps sustainable growth with continuous portfolio launches and also various collaborations with other pharmaceutical partners. There are more than 30 brands across biopharm, Oncology and rare disease. The global ranking is top 10 and it’s top 1 in many countries in International region. The strong business teams work closely with all supporting functions to achieve the business goals and the financial capability is critical for the efficient strategic decision.

However in such a large corporate structure, commercial teams have lots of individual tools for separate purpose or heavily rely on excel manual works to produce financial analytics and management views. As one of the global long-term initiative, the current financial system would be entirely upgraded to a new version. The project is called Axial and it covers almost all SET areas. There are huge opportunities emerged to improve the efficiency and change the way people work through advanced technologies and effective systems with strong data capabitilies. Accordingly the business practice would be revisited and updated.

This programme now seeks a commercial planning and management reporting project role to drive the critical work stream and to be pivotal in ensuring alignment with the diverse meeds of various business stakeholders across the enterprise. The role will be supported by consulting firms. Joining the dynamic project team would provide broader business knowledge and more exposure. The job scope is planning and management reporting focused but is connected to R2R/OT2C/P2P/Supply Chain workstreams as well to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach for commercial finance.

With the understanding of the needs and the data modelling design, plan and direct the option analysis during the design phase and work closely with stakeholders for the execution of the future process and technology landscape in Axial.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Support the commercial planning and management reporting work stream, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives
  • Analyze existing processes to identify the gaps and opportunities using previous working experience/knowledge
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration and to capture their requirements and integrate them into the project scope
  • Translate business requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables
  • Lead workshops and meetings to collect feedback and input
  • Collaborate with consulting firms and data, technology teams to develop strategies and solutions
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices in commercial area to optimize business performance
  • Liaise with external partners on optimising AZ’s design and execution approach
  • Work effectively cross functionally throughout Axial to ensure an integrated and holistic outcome is achieved (key partners will include other EPO teams, Data and IT colleagues)


Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in commercial Finance or FP&A roles
  • Significant experience in ERP transformation and Business Improvement, inparticular using SAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical mindset
  • Advanced degree within field
  • Professional certification
  • Project management experience
