Responsibilities

As Manager Regulatory Compliance, you identify as an agent of change, committed to helping drive improvement outcomes and standing by decisions in the interest of Community; the popular and the unpopular. Collaboration across our healthcare system in the name of quality patient experiences comes second nature, as does developing a learning culture for your staff. You’re excited to foster an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued.  The Regulatory Compliance Manager for Community Care Health will be responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliances, including assisting with the regulatory audit functions. We are looking for a detail-oriented team member to facilitate leadership and vision for the program. From developing and modifying policies and procedures, to meeting deadlines and submitting filings, developing and maintaining with stakeholders and state regulators, you will be an integral advocate for our health plan.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 

 

Professional Experience:  5 years in a professional healthcare compliance role. 

  • Key Requirement: Experience with California health plan regulatory compliance is highly preferred. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential for creating presentations and managing large data files.
  • Writing Skills: Must be a strong, clear, and concise writer for drafting policies, procedures, and formal responses to the Department of Managed Healthcare (DMHC). 
  • Attention to Detail: Critical for cataloging audit documents, revising evidence of coverage (EOC) versions, and managing "Timely Access Reports." 
Licenses and Certifications
  • NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role (healthcare audit, fraud, or compliance) preferred
