Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Data Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex data issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.

Programming and Automation: Utilize strong programming skills to develop scripts and automation solutions that streamline data operations and enhance efficiency.

Monitoring and Maintenance: Collaborate with the 24x7 data team to monitor data jobs, ensuring compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and data quality standards.

Metrics Development: Collect and analyze metrics related to data operations to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential automation opportunities.

Operational Insights: Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on your deep understanding of data processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies.

Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the globally distributed team to communicate findings and share knowledge, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of processes, troubleshooting guides, and automation scripts to assist team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding data availability, issues, and resolutions, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field

  • - Proven experience in a data operations role or similar field, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem resolution.

  • - Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.

  • - Experience with automation tools and techniques to improve operational efficiency.

  • - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and address complex data challenges.

  • - Familiarity with monitoring systems and data pipelines, particularly in a 24x7 operational environment.

  • - Knowledge of AWS cloud, PowerCenter, Snowflake, and big data platforms is a plus.

  • - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
