About the Role
The Director of Clinical Programs will support the SVP, Clinical Operations and collaborate with all members of the Clinical Operations team to develop and manage the portfolio of programs within the TailorCare clinical model, the workflows to support those programs at the market level, and strategic initiatives that advance the impact, quality and growth of TailorCare’s care model. This role will support the design and implementation of experimental clinical pilots and programs, development of new product offerings and the evaluation of new tools & technologies. This role will be highly visible to both internal and external stakeholders including the VP, Clinical Strategy, SVP, Product, Chief Medical Officer, and market leadership teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Solve complex business problems across clinical and operational lanes that are multifactorial in nature using data analysis, research, and collaboration across functional teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise and thought partnership in the development of clinical content including clinical protocols, workflows, and training materials.
- Work with clinical and operation leadership in the development of provider and support staff workflows, product enhancements, patient-facing staff requests and assist with dissemination of new information and strategies
- Works with market leaders to ensure clinical staff have appropriate workflow knowledge to do their job upon hire
- Round with clinical teams regularly and as needed to review new and existing workflows and identify productivity bottlenecks and new functionality needed
- Develop and maintain role-based documentation of workflows and operating manuals as new initiatives are introduced
- Oversee experimental pilot studies with focus on business case development, outcomes measurement and operational design
- Act as a leader in strategic thinking regarding the use of information technologies by providers and support staff resulting in clinical workflows promoting efficiency and TailorCare initiatives and support implementation of new workflows to optimize our program
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects through completion of agreed timelines, scope and budgets. Ensure stakeholders are informed of project issues, risks, deliverables and milestones.
- Ensure staffing ratios continue to be accurate as new technology, product, workflows, and programs are introduced.
- Serves as a specialist who translates business problems and requirements into information requirements and systems
- Demonstrate proficiency or ability to learn and demonstrate optimal use of the product and other systems utilized by providers and support staff
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field or business administration; MBA, MPH or clinical license strongly preferred.
- 5 years of demonstrable experience within the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated track record of partnering with clinician thought leaders to define and implement clinical strategy.
- Comfort with clinical vocabulary; a quick learner who is unafraid to dive into the details of clinical care and fearless about challenging conventional clinical wisdom.

- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong interpersonal skills, executive presence and an openness to working collaboratively with others
- Exceptional at developing professional communications for executive leadership (documents and presentations)
