What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of personnel and/or vehicles, as required by location policies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a security-related presence.
- Complete routine reports and documentation as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
