Senior User Experience Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an experienced engineer to lead our enterprise mobility strategy, ensuring seamless management, security, and optimization of mobile devices across our organization. This position will be responsible for staying ahead of new technology to offer new and innovative ways to improve security and productivity through training, user groups, and conferences.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage mobile device technologies to help maximize the value to the business
- Work with vendors to evaluate new technologies
- Make recommendations for mobile device related equipment and software purchases
- Work with outside vendors to resolve issues
- Manage vendor-provided services and contracts
- Assist business partners with planning and budgeting technology lifecycles
- Update and maintain technology knowledgebase with troubleshooting content
- Mentor junior team members
- Actively participate in Lean and strategic planning
- Support corporate efforts for safety and government compliance
- Support and follow all corporate policies and procedures
- Develop skills and abilities appropriate to the position
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years managing enterprise MDM solutions
- Familiarity with ITIL Framework
- Strong communicator, well-organized, superior customer service skills, and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate experience developing lifecycle plans for hardware and software
- Must have a working knowledge of various client technologies, which may include but are not limited to:
- MDM Platforms
- Android Devices
- Barcode scanners
- Rugged tablets & phones
- Preferred experience
- Microsoft Intune
- SOTI
- iOS Devices
- Scripting
- Integrating MDM solutions with Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud platforms
- Available for off-hour work on a scheduled basis as well as participation in an on-call rotation
