Your Trainee Journey 2024/2026

 

Are you driven by the energy transition and want to play an active role in shaping the world of tomorrow? Then start your professional career with our trainee program and work with us on solutions for a future-proof and climate-friendly energy supply. During your trainee journey, you will focus on a career in Digitalization and work in the areas of Business Applications, IT Infrastructure & Operations, IT Portfolio & Architecture, Master Data Management and Process Governance. You will rotate through various areas of the company and get to know SMA, even in one of our foreign subsidiaries.

 

Your contribution to the "big picture"

 

• As a trainee, you will be integrated into your home port "digitalization" and take direct responsibility for your own projects and tasks right from the start
• You will pass through all areas of digitalization along our processes and services as well as stations in other areas of the company
• You can set priorities according to your interests and build up a company-wide network during your trainee journey
• In addition to working at our headquarters, you will also get to know the areas of activity within our subsidiaries during your time abroad  
• During your trainee journey, you will be actively involved in the digital transformation in all areas of the company and contribute to the implementation of strategic projects

  

Your skills are needed

 

• We seek trainees who want to make a difference and actively contribute, showing enthusiasm for renewable energy, digitalization and innovation topics

• Hold a completed bachelor's or master's degree in a business and/or technical discipline e.g. business informatics, industrial engineering, computer science, economics or similar

• Bring exciting practical experience in a corporate context (e.g., vocational training, relevant internships, job experience related to studies)

• Complete your studies before the program start, with no more than 3 years of professional experience (experienced professionals can explore other great opportunities at https://sma.jobs)

• Have a basic understanding of agile working, but still take an analytical and structured approach to complex problems and see conflicts as an opportunity for improvement and further development

• You enjoy communicating and presenting in German and English at different levels
