Your Career

As a Unit 42 Business Operations Analyst, you will have a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with senior leadership, business operations, and other key stakeholders and learn about the different functions within Unit 42. We are looking for a Business Operations Analyst to enhance our project financial management, billing, and reporting within Global Security Consulting Operations. This role requires a strong and collaborative individual who is detail-oriented, highly organized and self-motivated. They will be capable of multitasking and prioritizing different projects, creating reports and pulling insights from data, translating these insights into actionable recommendations, and working cross-functionally to drive successful execution.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with Clarizen, or similar Professional Services Automation software, SFDC, SAP and Tableau; processes and possesses a combination of operations and customer service abilities to support Unit 42 and other stakeholders. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Operations.

Your Impact

• Support Unit 42 Global Security Consulting Operations team with opening, maintaining, billing and closing projects consistent with engagement terms
• Manage purchase orders, invoices and relationships for assigned vendors
• Review and ensure accuracy for customer billing documents and time entry
• Become the expert - Aggregate and understand the billing data for business, and ensure data quality for analysis and reporting
• Support insight-driven decisions - Conduct thoughtful analyses to identify trends and opportunities to streamline business processes
• Integrate with cross-functional teams in the design, development, and enablement of Key Performance Indicators and business measurements for our unit’s programs
• Deliver results - Develop high-quality quantitative and qualitative analyses to articulate insights and recommendations for leadership consumption

Qualifications

Your Experience

• BA/BS in finance, economics or business equivalent fields or equivalent military experience required
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, project billing, or project management
• Background in management consulting highly desirable
• Experience working cross functionally and deep understanding of project setup, billing and expense processing
• Strong team player, and independent thinker, with high intellectual and emotional intelligence
• Deadline-driven, organized, with willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively and foster positive connections with others
• Strong spreadsheet skills, Google and Microsoft Office suite, including pivot tables and vlookup formulas
• Preferred software experience including SFDC, SAP, Clarizen, or other Professional Services Automation equivalent, and Tableau
• Experience with financial analysis is strongly preferred
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced security firm environment
