Description
The John Carter Brown Library invites applications for a 2 year postdoctoral position helping to coordinate the library’s programs and events to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States. The postdoctoral program coordinator will work closely with and support the library’s Director & Librarian and other library staff on interpretive programs including a major exhibit and associated instructional support. The program coordinator will also liaise with campus and external partners, particularly around Brown2026 the university initiative, to coordinate programs and internal and external communications. The position includes at least 20% time for the successful candidate’s research. Applicants should have a research specialty in the period of the American Revolution (broadly construed); applicants representing a wide range of disciplinary expertise are welcome.
