Senior Accountant – Revenue and Tax

Your Role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for timely and accurate recording of daily transactions, filing of transactional taxes, reconciliations and any task related to monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting. Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the accounts receivable ledger and ensure that revenues are recorded in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of the Company's U.S. quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures
- Coordinate with external tax consultants on PBC items as well as support in the management of tax audits
- Ensure Company’s compliance with personal property tax, use tax, withholding tax, 1099’s, business licenses and registrations, and other domestic requirements.
- Follow procedures, policies, and internal controls to ensure efficient business processes to support the delivery of business objectives
- Participate in month-end closing process, including the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries related to revenue and taxes
- Work cross-functionally with other groups to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions associated with contemplated business transactions
- Monitor business activities, ensure timely identification of accounting and financial reporting matters
- Assist in the evaluation, update and maintenance of key controls over financial reporting and the related key reports
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Contribute to and support internal control initiatives (SOX 404)
- Ad hoc reporting including financial and variance analysis
- Support both the external and internal audits functions and compile support requested
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience
- Publicly traded company experience
- ERP software experience
Annual Salary Range:
($95K - $119K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
