Job Description

• As a curious and passionate resident engineer, you are the face of Bosch at the customer. You act as the technical interface between engineering development and the customer and support the integration of Bosch products on customer vehicles.
•  As part of the international Bosch / Ford development team you will work directly with an entire customer development team, both local and international and work a significant amount of time onsite at Ford Engineering Center in Cologne.
• Within the driver assistance project DAT3 you will proactively support the teams in troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution, especially in reproducing errors in a vehicle environment.
• You are responsible for the direct technical contact to the customer and the coordination of customer project topics, tasks and meetings that will be supported locally.
• Last but not least, you evaluate requirements from Ford related to applicable projects of business units and ensure a timely delivery of issues/topics/questions from the customer to the development team.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in engineering or similar
• Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience in the fields of mobility-based controls/systems engineering with vehicle network systems as well as in the field of application/calibration in vehicle environment; knowledge of driver assistance technologies is a plus 
• Personality and Working Practice: communicative, cooperative, support the customer in a global environment, willingness to travel
• Languages: very good in English and German both written and spoken
