It’s used by all Adobe products and services across the company to authenticate and authorize users.</p><p>It’s built on top of OAuth and OIDC standards. IMS is a highly scalable system deployed on the AWS infrastructure orchestrated through Kubernetes, dealing with multiple availability zones and regions. Also part of IMS are Adobe’s federation services, directory sync and other services that together form our enterprise integration platform.</p><p>As an IMS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining 99.99% uptime and will contribute to designing and building systems that will scale Adobe’s business for the next 10 years.</p><p></p><p>We are looking for senior software engineers with a passion for delivering results. If you are enthusiastic about high scalability, elastic infrastructure, zero downtime, millions of RPM, multi-region and squeezing milliseconds from the response times you are the right candidate for us.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><ul><li><p>Work in an agile team to build scalable and secure services, and own multiple features of the product.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate the current architecture, determine risks and opportunities, and produce proposals for mitigation and improvements.</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, deploy, integrate, and support Single Sign-On (SSO) using DevOps model for all types of devices.</p></li><li><p>Use your outstanding technical skills to mentor junior members of the team.</p></li><li><p>Perform research on various technologies and define architectural improvements. Build prototypes and core features.</p></li><li><p>Drive adoption of modern technologies and contribute to continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineering teams.</p></li><li><p>Understand the product principles and customer base and drive the definition of a truly internet-scale &amp; web-forward architecture.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you will need to succeed: </b></p><ul><li><p>7+ years proven experience.</p></li><li><p>B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Object oriented design principles and design patterns, strong algorithmic and logical skills.</p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge and practical experience with Java, Spring, Cassandra, MySQL and related technologies.</p></li><li><p>Proven knowledge of System Scalability, Availability &amp; Performance.</p></li><li><p>Experience in deployment of SSO products and integration with multiple applications is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Proven foundation in software engineering process &amp; standard methodologies (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration).</p></li><li><p>Hands-on software development capabilities with large projects.</p></li><li><p>Passionate about computer science, developing software and internet applications.</p></li><li><p>Enjoys technical challenges and can propose and evaluating a solution against requirements, demonstrates strong customer focus.</p></li><li><p>Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.</p></li><li><p>Good written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.</p></li><li><p>Spoken and written English proficiency.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span>As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
