The Communications Systems Division of Bosch Security Systems is headquartered in Burnsville, Minnesota. Telex, a division of the Communications Systems Division, invented the first noise-canceling microphone for U.S. Armed Forces during World War II combat. Later, Telex microphones were used on the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space missions, making them the first microphones on the moon. Today, Telex continues to pioneer mission critical sound technology providing pilots with the quality communications they depend on for safe, enjoyable flying.
Job Description
Come be an integral part of the Telex aviation segment of the Bosch Communications Systems division. We are looking for an outstanding customer advocate to join our aviation team and partner with the field sales team to deliver best in industry customer support.
In this role as an Aviation Sales Administrator, you will:
- Act as a Customer Advocate by building relationships with all key distributors and OEMs and offering technical support as necessary and within area of expertise
- Partner closely with and be a liaison between external and internal customers/teams
- Monitor and run regular reports for orders, errors and shipping/invoicing info
- Check stock levels daily, manage prioritization
- Manufacturing Communication: assist with getting correct paperwork when necessary
- Access customer portals to ensure current order accuracy
- Support at major trade shows
- Answer daily email and phone call requests
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience in a professional support role
- Proficient in aviation product offerings & familiarity with legacy Telex product
- Government regulation familiarity for aviation orders:
- E.g. FAA Authorization, CFC, FFF, TSO, STC, etc.
- Extremely customer oriented
- Ability to deal with challenging customer situations
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
- Proven team-player orientation with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of working within SAP in a customer support role
- Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, and databases
- Must be able to travel domestically less than 10% of time. Some international travel may be required
