Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in San Jose, California.  This position will be responsible for revenue and gross margin analysis across the HDD Data Center business unit. 

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast business performance and support strategic planning initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks of HDD Data Center business unit.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop pricing, market share and volume scenarios.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes and systems

   

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field, preferably in a large organization

Skills:

• Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis, experience on revenue and gross margin.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent data visualization and reporting capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent work.
