At ManTech International, you’ll support Military and Government personnel through the Navy Continuous Training Environment as part of a team supporting global enterprise Navy operational and training networks across hundreds of shore-based sites and more than 120 ships.
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented TCTS 2 (Tactical Combat Training System) SME to join our team onsite in Hampton Roads, Virginia supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
The Large Area Tracking Range (LATR) and the Tactical Combat Training System (TCTS) were fielded for the primary purpose of enhancing aircraft operations and to secondarily support some ground and surface exercise participants. Recently this data has also been integrated into the Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) federation allowing for the first steps into LVC training. At its core, instrumentation systems maximize the effectiveness of valuable training time and have become an essential enabler for the generation of combat ready forces. TCTS Increment II provides an encrypted data link capability to ensure secure transmission of aircraft time, space, position information (TSPI), weapons data, and synthetic (virtual and constructive) threats.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years experience
- A working knowledge of TCTS II architecture to include understanding of participant subsystems (PS), ground subsystems (GS), remote range unit (RRU), and portable support equipment subsystem (PSES).
- Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of the following systems that interface with TCTS II:
- Digital Radio Management System (DRMS)
- Link – Inject to Live (LITL) Link 16 capability
- Electronic Warfare Server (EWS)
- Large Area Tracking Range (LATR)
- Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF)
- RADAR Aircraft Display System (RADS)
- Joint Debriefing Subsystem (JDS)
- Threat/ Intelligence simulation and sources
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend preventive maintenance documents and procedures
- Must be organized and able to work independently and with others
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS
Clearance Requirements:
- Active secret security clearance and US citizenship
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
