About the Role As the Director of Global People Operations, you will be the strategic and operational leader of Highspot’s People Operations function. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will play a foundational role in scaling our global infrastructure and processes as we expand. Your expertise will enable us to attract, retain, and support talent by designing scalable systems and crafting global standard processes related to people processes, policies, and technologies.  The role will also be accountable for the execution, application, and continued optimization of our employee enablement self-service strategy and building frameworks for people-related data insights. What You'll Do

  • Strategic HR Operations Management: Build a digital-first employee experience through enhanced self-service tools and seamless service delivery models.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Lead the evolution and management of Workday and other HR technologies, driving usability, productivity, and data integrity. Introduce innovative tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Drive excellence through process excellence.  Develop and implement consistent processes across geographies that ensure compliance and operational efficiency while adapting to local needs. Maintain process excellence within the team and with G&A stakeholders
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee global compliance with employment regulations, immigration policies, and leave of absence programs across regions including the U.S., EMEA-ANZ, and India.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with key stakeholders including DEI&B, Recruiting, HRBPs, and Payroll, IT, Security etc. teams to align strategies and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to HR operations, ensuring smooth transitions and acceptance across the organization.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, engage, and develop a global People Operations team to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Employee Experience: Manage employee experience in partnership with VP - HRBP, define success at milestone timelines, etc. 
  • Partner directly with the Chief People Officer on Employee Communications - standard and ad hoc, establishing clear channels and engaging communication.  
  • Work cross-functionally to establish employee branding (MarCom, Head of Recruiting, VPHRPB) utilizing our Digital Rooms technology.
  • Design and Scale Operational Frameworks: Build and refine the employee experience across the lifecycle to ensure a consistent and engaging experience, from new hire to departure—through scalable systems, policies, and processes. 
  • Technology: Set and run technology prioritization (Workday, Lever, Tableau, IncludedAI) across the functions comp, benefits, compliance related etc. Develop frameworks for actionable people insights and analytics. 

Your Background:

  • Operational Excellence: A proven track record of creating scalable processes, managing complexity, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic and Systems Thinker: Ability to think end-to-end, navigate interdependencies, and anticipate future needs.
  • Global Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing compliance, policies, and processes across multiple geographies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in leveraging data to inform strategies and drive business results.
  • Leadership Excellence: Experienced in building, scaling, and managing high-performing teams with a focus on growth and development.
  • Project Management: Skilled in defining objectives, managing timelines, and driving accountability for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of HR systems, particularly Workday, and a passion for leveraging technology to optimize operations.
