Position Overview:
Artlist is in a period of rapid expansion, and we’re looking for a Regional Director of North America to lead all commercial operations for the region from our New York City office. Reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Sales, you will own revenue performance, drive market penetration, and scale our presence across North America. You will oversee our NYC-based Account Executive and Account Management teams, guiding them to deliver exceptional results and customer experiences.

What You’ll Do
Lead and Grow the North America Business
- Own all commercial activity across the North American market, including revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic account expansion.
- Develop, implement, and optimize go-to-market initiatives that drive meaningful impact across the region.
Build and Inspire High-Performing Teams
- Directly manage Account Executives, Account Managers, and Team Leads, ensuring clarity of goals, strong coaching, and consistent high performance.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and values-aligned culture within the NYC office.
- Set clear expectations and address performance issues quickly and effectively.
Drive Strategic Execution
- Own North America’s sales targets, continuously monitoring performance to ensure predictable retention and growth.
- Own and deliver the regional quota across new business, retention, and expansion.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline discipline, and operational rigor across the sales organisation
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to build and scale a world-class commercial organization.
- Provide market, customer, and performance insights to inform executive-level decision-making and company strategy.
Strengthen Customer and Cross-Functional Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top customers, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align regional strategies with global company objectives.
- Partner with senior leaders and global stakeholders to drive cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless execution across teams and time zones.
Leadership & Culture
- Act as a senior leader in the NYC office, setting the tone for engagement, performance, and collaboration.
- Serve as a visible advocate for the NYC site - celebrating wins, addressing challenges, and creating a sense of unity and purpose.
- Build and reinforce a strong sales culture grounded in accountability, coaching, continuous improvement, and customer obsession.
- Provide day-to-day leadership presence, offering guidance, feedback, and support to managers and team leads to strengthen leadership capability across the organisation.
Requirements
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, GTM Operations, Revenue Strategy, or Management Consulting — ideally within high-velocity PLG or SaaS environments.
- Proven success as a Director of higher level designing, scaling, and leading inside sales organizations across multiple regions or market segments.
- Proven experience leading quota-carrying inside sales and account management teams.
- Strong analytical and operational capabilities, with a data-driven approach to optimizing sales processes and performance.
- Deep familiarity with sales funnel management, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and AI/automation tools that improve productivity at scale.
