Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation, and transfers per the individualized plan of care
  
  
• Monitor client’s condition and report changes promptly
  
  
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
  
  
• Light housekeeping related to client care
  
  
• Provide companionship and emotional support
  
  
• Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker)
  
  
• Provide medication reminders (no administration)
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of services provided using our mobile app
  
  
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant handwashing)
  
  
• Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional conduct
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience 
  
  
• CNA/HHA certification preferred, but not required
  
  
• Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN
  
  
• Ability to work 8 or 12-hour shifts (days and/or nights)
  
  
• High school diploma or GED
  
  
• 1+ year of home care or similar caregiving experience preferred
  
  
• Must pass a national background check, have CPR and TB Test
  
  
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, both days and nights

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
