Position Details:

- Schedule: Full Time, 8:00am – 4:30pm (flexible), Monday – Friday
- Provide functional guidance and serve as the lead in daily activities of the department.
- Assist in the supervision of patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
- Monitor workflow, quality, and performance and provide direction, guidance and oversight in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Recognize improvement opportunities, help to implement solutions, and handle complex or unresolved issues.
- Lead the team in assuring patient encounter is priority and at best interest.
- A High School Diploma/GED; Associate's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a health care setting.
- ICD-10 and CPT coding experience.
- Experience in admitting and billing or collections.
- Knowledge and understanding of hospital policies and procedures relating to claims submission.
- Ability to interpret insurance information.
- Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA preferred.
