Registration Team Lead - Primary Care

• Provide functional guidance and serve as the lead in daily activities of the department.
• Assist in the supervision of patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
• Monitor workflow, quality, and performance and provide direction, guidance and oversight in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Recognize improvement opportunities, help to implement solutions, and handle complex or unresolved issues.
• Lead the team in assuring patient encounter is priority and at best interest.

  What You Will Need:

• A High School Diploma/GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a health care setting.
• ICD-10 and CPT coding experience.
• Experience in admitting and billing or collections.
• Knowledge and understanding of hospital policies and procedures relating to claims submission.
• Ability to interpret insurance information.
• Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA preferred.
