Sr. Account Executive, Healthcare

Description
The Senior Account Executive, Healthcare, will play a crucial role in the growth and success of the company in the Public Healthcare and Commercial Healthcare markets. This position requires a candidate with a background in lead generation, outbound prospecting, relationship building and preferably within the healthcare technology industry. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including marketing, business development and project management, to develop sales plans and strategies that will help expand the customer base and identify new projects and opportunities.
Requirements
- Work cross-functionally with other business units at DOMA to drive growth and build relationships with Net New customer’s.
- Conduct research to build account plans on target customers that will lead to meaningful outbound activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of the company's products and services.
- Generate new sales opportunities using outbound strategies including, but not limited to, phone calls, emails, onsite meetings, LinkedIn and CRM.
- Engage and influence health system leadership, up to and including C-level
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, spending trends and competitive analysis.
- Ability to identify and progress RFP/RFQ/RFI opportunities and other public sector contracting engagements.
- Monitor, update and track new leads and active opportunities using SalesForce and modern database systems
- Attend conferences and tradeshows on behalf of the company to drive new business and create brand awareness
- Other duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or another related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a full sales cycle role, prospecting, pitching & closing, preferably within the healthcare technology industry
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and create connections with prospects
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or another similar prospecting applications that will allow you to track leads and next steps with prospects
- Experience condensing a health system sales cycle from years to months
- Knowledge of Public Healthcare and Commercial Healthcare market dynamics, regulations, and procurement processes is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to travel within the United States on a quarterly basis while maintaining professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
