Job Description
- Providing OS support for Linux machines (mainly Red Hat and Oracle Enterprise Linux)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Automate system administrative tasks
- Handling incident tickets
- Clarifying and implementing change tickets
- Processing orders (machine deployment or extension, user creation, etc.)
- Work with other internal teams
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a Linux administrator
- Strong foundation of Linux operating systems (such as CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, HPSA)
- Familiarity in programming/scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Perl
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- At least intermediate English language knowledge
- Strong adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and dynamic environments
Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required):
- Relevant certifications (such as RHCSA, RHCE)
- Experience with virtual machines (such as VMWARE)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Understanding network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of centralized authentication (LDAP)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
